American Phsyco revolves around the life of Patrick Bateman
a wealthy investment banker living in Manhattan during the late 1980s.

who he finds bothersome, Patrick engages a secret life of a serial killer.American Phsyco is any amazing depiction of the shortcomings of the highly sort after cooperate 9-5 lifestyle. Batemans life consists of dining at trendy restaurants, keeping up appearances and outdoing his associates. Fuelled by materialism, ego and lack of passion and drive. Bateman chooses to fill this void with blood lust and homicide.
The movie produces a perfect atmosphere filled per late-80's styles of design and architecture with a world filled with Wall Street cronies who are interchangeably android pod people, soulless under their designer-label shells and condescending smirks. Spawning its own cultic fowling American Physco is a must watch for fans of the dark comedy genre.
