Source Code (2011)

Source Code is a 2011 French-American science fiction film directed by Duncan Jones, and starring Jake Gyllenhaal which explores concepts relating to feasibility of reality and the way we perceive it.

The film centres around U.S. Army Aviation pilot Captain Colter Stevens who is  last aware of being on a mission in Afghanistan, wakes up suddenly on a commuter train to Chicago.

Using the "Source Code" experimental device Colter experiences the last eight minutes of another person's life within an alternative timeline in order to foil a future terrorist plot.  Sourcecode assumes the juxtaposition of two dimensions: Time and eternity. Time: the dimension in which we live and eternity where all time exists; past, present and future. Source Code intertwining and in-depth plot revolves around the human desire to access eternity in order to change the temporal.
