The usual suspects is a drama directed by Bryan Singer in
1995. The film stars Stephan Baldwin, Kevin Pollack, Gabriel Byrne, Pete Postlethwaite,
Chazz Palminteri and Kevin Spacey.
Through the sole survivor the usual suspects depicts the
events that led up to a shootout on a boat that is being investigated by police.
The story is told through five criminals who meet at a police line-up and start
working together. This movie will keep you guessing and have you routing for
the bad guy. The characters are instantly likeable, despite them being
criminals. They are very human and they all have very distinct personalities.
I really like how this movie had been directed you slowly
get information fed to you throughout the film keeping your curiosity sparked throughout
the whole film. You don’t get all the information till the very end of the film
and it will leave with your jaw dropped, I guarantee it.
I would definitely call this movie a classic. It is something
that everyone who loves a bit of mystery and action is sure to love.
